Calligraphy Yoga

In Calligraphy yoga there is made use of gentle and slow movements, which allow you to fully connect to your body and get your mind of the busy day-to-day life. With roots lying in old traditions of Qi Gong, Tai Chi and the fine arts of Calligraphy, the practice can been seen as a way to move mindfully and to restore the Qi flow in the body for optimal health. Additionally, the movements will help release muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. The result will be a stronger, more flexible body and experiencing feelings of calmness and groundedness. The classes are suitable for anyone. As well as for beginners and people with more experience in yoga or martial arts.

Naomi has been a passionate dancer since a young age but discovered her enjoyment and the benefits of yoga during her studies in Psychology. In her gap-year she travelled trough South America where she met her teacher, Master Yang, who is the lineage holder of Calligraphy yoga. Ever since her first attempt at this form of yoga it has been transformational to her. After sharing the practice with friends and family, she decided she wanted to spread this knowledge in order for other people to reap the healing and energizing benefits.
